Memorial qualification and the Not-memorial

How an incident qualifies for a memorial and a development of memorials – the Not-memorial.

Following a long campaign after a fall on Church Hill, and including a debate on criteria for the creation of a memorial, the first Not-memorial was created on 17th December 2016 in honour of Mr Kersley’s bravery and persistence in enduring the results of his accident.

The debate included the creation of the criteria for a full memorial, and, with certain barriers being put in the way, namely Mr Roche’s avuncular input, finally a summary was concluded as below:
